CCVCA HistoryEstablished in 2011, the Cross Creek Village Civic Association is a non-profit, volunteer, neighbor-led organization that was created to organize and coordinate neighborhood-related events, to address the needs of the community and to determine realistic and achievable goals. The scope of the Civic Association extends far beyond the Block Watch focus, and yet, continues to support the important functions of the Block Watch (established in 1999) and its specific police mandates for Crime Prevention and Safety Issues.
Membership in the Cross Creek Village Civic Association is voluntary. Our long-time residents opted for a minimal $20 requested donation per household per year, with pro-rated quarterly pricing. Members are eligible to vote on important community decisions, participate in the planning of community events and projects, and receive special offers and benefits throughout the year. More than that, though, involvement with the Civic Association helps to foster a greater sense of community. All donations are 100% tax deductible, as the CCVCA is now an official 501(c)3 organization. This modest fee gives neighbors an opportunity to donate toward their neighborhood’s beautification and to encourage community communication and participation in social events, garage sales, training, workshops, and neighbor-led groups with common interests. We need your talents and involvement! Please consider joining today! |
